Lusaka Resident Magistrate, Silvia Munyinya, had earlier issued bench warrants for Kaizer Zulu’s sureties, Munir and Chilubi Member of Parliament, Mulenga Fube, for failure to prevail on former President Edgar Lungu’s Political advisor, Kaizer Zulu, not to abscond court sessions.

Munir was nabbed in the early hours of July 6, 2023 at a named Lodge in Roma after previously eluding Immigration Officers.

On the other hand, Fube complied with the bench warrant and made his representations before Lusaka Resident Magistrate, Silvia Munyinya.

This is the case where Kaizer Zulu is charged with three counts of failure to surrender Diplomatic passports and failing to appear before an Immigration Officer upon entry into the country.
