ZESCO United parts ways with coaches Lwandamina, Chilumba

ZESCO United Football Club has announced the departure of Head Coach, George Lwandamina, and Assistant Coach, Tenant Chilumba, with immediate effect.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Club Chairperson, Maxwell Saya, expressed gratitude to Lwandamina and Chilumba for their contributions to the team, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

In the interim, Second Assistant Coach Emmanuel Siwale will step in as Head Coach while the club undertakes a comprehensive recruitment process for a new full-time Head Coach.

Lwandamina, who previously led ZESCO United to significant success, saw his second tenure at the club marked by setbacks, including a recent stumble in the first leg of the CAF Champions League.
