Zambia’s 2022 Commonwealth Games Gold medalist, Muzala Samukonga, has been forced to pull out of the race at his second appearance at the Diamond League currently being held in Silesia, Poland due to a hamstring injury.

Samukonga was supposed to take part in the race despite only just recovering from injuries from previous races.

His appearance at the Diamond League came after winning the Golden Spike trophy in Czech Republic.
