Defender Lushomo Mweemba gave Zambia the lead in the 40th minute before Banda scored two goals in quick succession to give Zambia a 3-0 lead.

Ireen Lungu made the score 4-0 after half time.

Banda was not done and converted an assist to seal an impressive hattrick.

Kundananji eventually got on the score sheet, after Racheal Nachula performed some heroics on the right wing.

Zambia would now host Angola next week at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium for the return leg.
