Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, Nelly Mutti, has arrived in Moscow for an official visit at the invitation of the Russian Federation.
Mutti would participate in the 2024 Fourth Eurasian Women’s Forum, which has the theme “Women for Fostering Trust and Global Cooperation.”
According to a statement issued in Lusaka on Monday by Nshamba Muzungu, Senior Media Liaison Officer at the National Assembly of Zambia, Mutti is expected to deliver a speech at the high-level meeting, which would be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.

During her visit, Mutti is also scheduled to hold discussions with Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Federation Council, and Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma.
The Speaker would be accompanied by Chief Government Whip Stafford Mulusa, Vice Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Reforms and Modernisation Majory Nakaponda, Isoka Member of Parliament, Clerk of the National Assembly Roy Ngulube, and other staff from the National Assembly of Zambia.
