Zambian premier league transfer window opens

The Zambian Premier League (ZPL) transfer window officially opened on January 1, 2025, allowing clubs to bolster their squads for the next four weeks.

The transfer window would remain open until January 31, 2025.
As the second half of the season approaches, teams are eager to strengthen their line-ups and make a push for the top spots.

The ZPL resumed on January 11, 2025, following a mid-season break.
Currently, Zesco United leads the MTN Super League standings after 18 weeks of play.

In the ZPL National League, Konkola Blades have taken the top spot.
In the women’s leagues, Zesco Ndola Girls remain unbeaten and top the Eden University Women’s Super League standings with 55 points.

Konkola Blades Queens and National Assembly lead in the North and South divisions of the ZPL Women’s National League, respectively.
