Zambian artistes, Macky 2 and his sister, Towela, nominated for Afrimma Awards

The Kairas have continued to rate high not only the Zambian music space but also international stages as they appear to be the only Zambian artistes nominated at this year’s Afrimma Awards ceremony.

Zambian heavyweight artiste, Macky 2, and his sister, Towela Kaira, have been nominated at the Afrimma Awards 2023, competing at a continental level with artistes from different African countries.

Towela had been nominated as the best female artiste in Southern Africa, while her brother, Macky, has been nominated as the best male artiste in Southern Africa.

The male sensational rapper, better known as King Buga, would compete for the crown alongside late South African Rapper AKA, Costa Titch, Musa Keys, Sjava, Botswana’s Han C, Zim’s very own Winky D and Mozambique giant DJ Tarico.

Towela, on the other hand would be competing against Dj Zhinle, Nadia Nakai, Makhadzi, among others.
