Elton Mulenga, widely known as Yo Maps, has announced the release of a new album this December, exciting fans who quickly flooded his Facebook page with enthusiastic comments.
In his announcement, Yo Maps described the album as a heartfelt gift to fans who supported him throughout a challenging year.
“This year has been a journey like no other, and I couldn’t have made it through without you—my incredible fans who have stood by me through every high and low. Your unwavering support, even during my toughest times, has meant the world to me,” he shared.
Typically releasing a December single, Yo Maps said this time he wanted to offer more. “Instead, I’m giving you an entire album, set to drop this December 2024. This album is a gift from my heart to yours—a thank you for all the love and loyalty you’ve shown me,” he added.
The announcement sparked a wave of excitement from fans. Allan the Degree Holder wrote, “After listening to ‘Yesu Nga Teimwe,’ I can confidently say uliwakulekafye wechipondo. The DEGREE holder and the rest of the world are proud of you.”
Chanda John Chimba commented, “It’s game over for all the songs that were released this year. The king has come to shut it down. Let’s go YO BOY!”
