The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) has unveiled PC Agency, a specialized International Destination Marketing to promote and showcase unique Zambian travel experiences to the international market.
Ministry of Tourism Permanent Secretary, Evans Muhanga, said the PC Agency would handle marketing in USA, UK and Europe for a period of one year.
Muhanga said this at the just ended World Travel Market (WTM) in London, where Zambia participated along side twenty-two private sector companies.
He noted that with a commitment to elevating the travel experience and fostering cross-cultural connections, PC Agency brings a fresh approach to destination marketing.
“Leveraging cutting-edge strategies, the Agency would create captivating narratives that highlight the distinct charm and attractions of destination Zambia,” Muhanga said.
He stated that Zambia was a country blessed with awe-inspiring landscapes, mesmerizing wildlife, and rich cultural heritage.
“The world needed to know about the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and the vast wilderness of national parks,” Muhanga indicated.
ZTA Chief Executive Officer, Matongo Matamwandi, expressed enthusiasm about this strategic move, stating, “In an era where travel preferences are evolving, PC Agency was positioned to redefine Zambia’s tourism resource to the rest of the world.
He added that Zambia was ready to shine on the global stage.
