The Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC) has announced that Zambia will host Annual General Meeting and African Regional Council Meeting for the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (GAPRCM) Annual Meeting on May 15, 2023 in Lusaka.
According to a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday, ZIPRC Chief Executive Officer, Nimon Muleya, said the GAPRCM is the confederation of the world’s major Public Relations and Communication Management Associations and Institutions, representing 125 countries and more than 360,000 practitioners and academics from around the world.
He said Zambia will host two major global and continental events namely the GAPRCM’s AGM and Africa Regional Council Meeting on May 15, 2023 and the African Public Relations Association (APRA) 2023 Annual Public Relations (PR) Conference from May 15-19, 2023 in Lusaka.
“GAPRCM Board president, Justin Green, confirmed that the 2023 AGM will be hosted in Zambia by the GAPRCM’s ‘Africa Regional Council’ chaired by Peter Mutie from Kenya in partnership with Council members including APRA, ZIPRC and other APRA national PR Associations,” Muleya said.
