Castro, a British oil Company, is reportedly bringing the Premier League trophy to Lusaka, Zambia on April, 26.
This is said to be part of the build up to the forthcoming final premier league match, where Manchester City would defend their title on May 19, 2024.
In a statement issued in Lusaka, company Marketing Director, Jennifer Heyes, claimed that the partnership between them and Premier League was signed in 2022 to sponsor soccer in Africa.

She claimed that the company had also sponsored several awards in the Premier League.
“Castrol sponsors several awards in the Premier League, such as the Castrol Golden Boot for the player with the most goals of the season, Castrol Playmaker of the Season for the player with the most assists and the Castrol Golden Glove, which is awarded to the goalkeeper with the cleanest sheets for the season,” Heyes stated.
