Shawn Kabemba, manager to one of Zambia’s biggest artistes, Macky 2 has encouraged local musicians to plan and invest their money they make from music.
Kabemba who is known as Shawn Kaystar warned musicians that ladies who are after them for their cash will leave them broke in future.
His comment comes in after the once upon a time most happening Zambian musician K’millian was this week bashed by social media for failure to pay for a local ulba which he had booked.
On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, one of Zambia’s ulber entity, Yango, ganged up to say K’millian owes them.
The once most happening Zambian musician is alleged to be suffering from the addiction of alcohol abuse.
K’millian is now receiving help from well-wishers and has received more than K25, 000 in donation.
Contributing to comments from social media, Kaystar, manager of the current Zambia’s most happening musician Macky 2, has posted on his facebook page urging the artistes to invest.
“Now that K’millian is been helped & supported.. I’ll finally say this; ZAMBIAN ARTISTS, INVEST!! These girls you are after or after you, the blowing of Champagne in Chicagos or Dacapo, you will regret it soon enough! Remember fame has a lifespan, you won’t be hot forever, use your time wisely!” Kaystar said.
In a separate post, Kaystar wrote; “I & My team pledge to host “The Best of K’millian” concert for him in order to fundraise for a car and as a start-up for his life! We respect your contribution towards Zambian Music!”
Kaystar, is arguably the most successful Artiste Manager and Promoter in Zambia.
Over the years, he has been on the frontier of Zambian music, with multiple accreditation to his name like Best Youngest Artiste Manager and Promoter by the Promoters Association of Zambia.
