Zambian music icon, Yo Maps, made history at the 18th edition of the Ngoma Awards held in Lusaka on Tuesday.
The night witnessed Yo Maps scooping not one but three notable Awards.
The singer and songwriter as well as producer won ‘The Most Outstanding Male Musician Award, beating fellow category mates Neo Slayer And Chef 187.

Secondly, he scooped the most outstanding album of the year With His 2023 Released “Try Again album“, Beating Neo Slayer’s “Situationship Album” And Chef 187’s “Broke Nolunkumbwa Album‘.
The final award under the music awards was the most outstanding song of the year category Which saw Yo Maps yet again grab the award with “Kondwa“, the most streamed song off The ‘Try Again album, In this category Yo Maps was Placed alongside mordecaii with ‘Fire‘ And Neo Slayer with ‘A Woman’s Prayer.
Moments After Making Such An impactful milestone, Yo Maps later wrapped up the evening’s event with an outstanding performance which looked as if it was a musical concert.
