Yango delivery awards top performing couriers of cargo tariff in lusaka

Yango Delivery, a part of a global tech company Yango Group,, has awarded top performing partners’ couriers in the Cargo tariff in Zambia.

During the event the results of the two months’ competition for the Cargo drivers were announced.

During October and November 2024 the partners’ couriers were gaining activity points for using the platform for number of deliveries made, supply hours and customer ratings.

This is the first offline event for the Cargo tariff partners’ couriers that Yango has arranged in Zambia. The 50top performing cargo couriers were recognized and awarded during the campaign.

The important part of this event included road safety training , financial literacy sessions for the Cargo vehicle drivers held by the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) and the Renaissance group.

“We aim to encourage partners’ couriers to get more achievements cooperating with the Yango and motivate them to achieve higher performance points. This event and the top performing couriers’ recognition is an important part of it.

“At the same time we all understand that a road safety topic is crucial for all of us, and I believe that we need to use any opportunity to share information and relevant knowledge and initiate discussions with the support of our partners,” explained Dennis Aremo, Country Manager of Yango Delivery in Zambia.

In 2024 Yango Delivery has arranged several events for partners’ couriers with over 500 couriers participating. Apart from top performers’ recognition, road safety and financial literacy sessions were an important part of these events. 500 helmets were distributed among the participants during the events.
