Vice President WK Mutale Nalumango has visited the scene of accident where a fuel tank caught fire in Lusaka’s industrial area.
On Saturday, the Vice President also visited the victims receiving treatment at the hospital.
Nalumango was in company of Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) National Coordinator Gabriel Pollen.
“Spare their lives O God, and save them, and I will gladly proclaim your righteousness. Help me to speak, Lord, and I will praise you,” she said a prayer at the hospital beds according to her official social media handle.
Nalumango continued “You do not want sacrifices, or I would offer them; you are not pleased with burnt offerings. My sacrifice is a humble spirit, O God; you will not reject a humble and repentant heart.”

Reports indicates that a fuel tanker believed to belong to Budget Petroleum, and lifting petroleum products for Melab Trading company, caught fire in Lusaka’s industrial area.
The tanker caught fire on Saturday around 11:00hrs on the road lying between the roundabout at Zambeef and Zambian Breweries.
It is believed that some people were stealing fuel from the tanker before it went up in flames.
Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale added that a Toyota Hiace minibus which was parked near the scene of the incident also caught fire and got burnt extensively.
Mwale in a statement on Saturday said all the passengers on board managed to escape unhurt.
