Vice President, Mutale Nalumango, is confident that the technology advancement Zambia has witnessed so far would spur economic development.
Nalumango was pleased to see that many companies had paid attention to advance technology in Zambia.
She pointed out at the 13th motor show in Lusaka on Saturday that development was critical to the country’s economic growth.

Nalumango observed that what many companies were doing was in line with the Eighth National Development Plan (8NDP).
“The rate at which technology development is moving shows that the country is on the right path in growing the economy.
“Colleagues, I look at this show in the manner that you have displayed the motor vehicle industry as covering the entire Eighth National Development Plan for our nation,” she said.
Nalumango further said: “It starts right from economic transformation agenda that we talk about economic growth because it is showing here, if we talk about job creation it goes right down to the social service delivery of the people.
“It is extremely encouraging colleagues to see what we have. I see a lot from what has been displayed. It is technology that should be in forefront.”
