Socialite-turned diplomat to Brazil, Chellah Tukuta, has been recalled from foreign service.
Multiple social media platforms have reported the development.
However, no official statement from the authorities has been released yet to confirm the recall.

But Tukuta himself took to social media to confirm the development.
“Yes I have been recalled. And life doesn’t end here. I get back to my photography and usual business. Others are happy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I am more happy AM FREE.”
The controversial socialite famed for his photography has in the recent past been embroiled in a war of words with musician B-Flow but most notably Zambian music sensation Yo Maps and his wife, socialite Kidist.
The highly opinionated Tukuta was part of the media team at State House before he was transferred to Brazil as a diplomat.
Many on social media reacted to Tukuta’s post.
“You are actually very sad meno don’t lie😂its us who are happy that our wise President has listened thankyou HH7,” one social media user posted.
Many mocked him for being recalled.
“We told you that you’re a civil servant and the Ollios are not🤣🤣🤣🤣,” another social media user posted.
Others called him a liar for attempting to downplay his recall: “Ubufi. Deep down, you are hurting. Brother man, change. You can’t be fighting with women everytime.”
The UPND UK Chapter stated that: “sorry my brother, Chabipa. But sounds ungrateful, felt like the position held you hostage?.”
“Thanks to President HH for recalling Chellah Tukuta because the embarrassment to the government was too much. As you promised that your appointments were going to be based on merits but this appointment did not meet the criteria,” UPND UK Chapter stated.
A few had kinder words for him.
“Finally….cause you worked Soo hard to get recalled. Travell the world,Do what you are good at, hustle n make money,” one Facebooker wrote.
The close to 5 thousand comments were not sort of encouraging remarks.
“That’s sad but it’s okay life goes on… You can still work for yourself and it’s good that way…. These appointments come and go but your skill remains intact forever.. Best wishes 💕,” wrote yet another user.
