SeamlessHR, one of African Human Resource technology company, has reportedly raised US$9 million in a funding round led by the Gates Foundation and Helios Digital Ventures.
The investment aims to support SeamlessHR’s mission to revolutionize workforce productivity across the continent through innovative HR technology solutions.
The funds are expected to enable SeamlessHR to expand its footprint in Africa and deliver cutting-edge solutions such as embedded finance offerings and AI-driven workforce management technologies.
According to appsafrica, these innovations are designed to enhance business performance and improve financial inclusion for employees.
Commenting on the development, Emmanuel Okeleji, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SeamlessHR, said, “While accelerating workforce productivity across Africa, we’re also focused on empowering hardworking Africans with responsible credit products, allowing them to leverage their employment as collateral for better financial opportunities.
“This is critical in addressing the economic challenges caused by global disruptions such as inflation, exchange rate volatility, and rising food prices.”
