Banda lamented that the situation had affected both pupils and Parents who depend on the school which also employees a number of people living in the area.

She appealed to well wishers to come to the aid of the school which is among three Community schools in the area and had a large enrollement.

“The rains started around 15:00hrs yesterday and luckily it was a weekend and there were no pupils around. Most of things which were left in the two classrooms got damaged. We will need to look for a new printer, computer and other things,” Banda said.
