Spurs crash out of FA Cup as Villa pile pressure on Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur has crashed out of a second cup competition in days as Aston Villa secured a place in the FA Cup fifth round with a commanding 2-1 victory at Villa Park.

Jacob Ramsey opened the scoring inside the first minute, capitalizing on a costly mistake from Spurs goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, who failed to keep out his shot.

According to The Independent, Villa doubled their lead in the second half when Morgan Rogers finished off a goalmouth scramble.

Mathys Tel pulled one back for Spurs in stoppage time, but it was too little, too late.

The defeat heaps further pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou, who had vowed to deliver silverware in his second season.

With Spurs already out of the Carabao Cup and struggling in the Premier League, questions over Postecoglou’s future—and chairman Daniel Levy’s leadership—are intensifying.
