“Don’t wait for a food crisis before putting contingency measures,” Msoni said.
He said in a statement on Saturday that the government still has an opportunity to put in measures before the looming hunger occasioned by the mishandling of the agriculture season.

Msoni said agriculture was the most important and serious matter adding the priority was to avert starvation in the country.
