Gospel musician Solomon Moyo, known professionally as Solomon Plate, has released his sophomore album titled Over and Over.

The 14-track album features East African artiste Levixone from Uganda and several prominent Zambian names, including Esther Chungu, Mag 44, and Ephraim.

Released under Plate’s Dominion Sound label, the album was produced by Mag 44 despite being launched through Plate’s own record company.

Plate describes the project as a crossover album with a diverse mix of genres, including Afro-beat, Zamrock, and hip-hop. “Afro-fusion is how I would describe the genre on this project,” he said.

The album reflects Plate’s personal battles and triumphs over the past four years. He drew inspiration from Psalm 23, likening his journey to the experiences described in the passage.

“The album is based on Psalm 23. ‘Over and Over’ essentially means my cup runneth over. I’ve experienced Psalm 23 in these last four years, from walking through the valley to sitting at the table in front of my enemies,” he explained.
