The 2034 FIFA Men’s World Cup will be hosted by Saudi Arabia, while the 2030 tournament will feature joint hosts Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, with additional matches in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay to commemorate the centenary of the competition.
The decisions were confirmed during FIFA’s Extraordinary Congress held via video link, with all 211 member associations participating.
Voting was conducted by acclamation, following prior consultations, according to FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafstrom.

In the first vote, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina were designated to host the 2030 centenary matches.
A second vote confirmed Spain, Portugal, and Morocco as the primary hosts for the 2030 World Cup and Saudi Arabia as the sole host for the 2034 tournament.
The English Football Association, supported by the Scottish and Welsh FAs, backed Saudi Arabia’s bid after receiving assurances regarding fan safety and inclusivity.
