Rapper Jemax has released his highly anticipated debut album, “The Boogeyman,” featuring a plethora of industry peers.
The album had already clocked 1 million streams on the digital platform Boomplay in less than 12 hours since its release.
“The Boogeyman” dropped on Friday at midnight exclusively on Boomplay. The Kabwe native posted the link at midnight, much to the amazement of fans who had eagerly anticipated the project.
The album featured the usual suspects like Yo Maps alongside other popular hip-hop figures such as Jay Rox, Tommy Dee, Chef 187, and Jae Cash.

It also included contributions from a younger crop of buzzing artistes like 76 Drums of the Big Machine fame, Blood Kid YVOK, Dizmo, and Xaven.
Eazy the Producer, King Nachi, Fuego, and the legendary Jerry Fingers earn production credits on this long-awaited hip-hop masterpiece.
“I’m so happy to finally present to you my first album ever! A body of work that I have put my heart and soul into. This has been made possible by the support that you guys have shown me over the years,” Jemax posted on his Facebook page alongside a link to the album.
The rapper confirmed via his Facebook page that he had attained the 1 million streams milestone, posting, “1 MILLION streams in 11 hours 🥵 mwati ilelanga uko? Ubutotelo zoona 🙏🏾 💯.”
Jemax is known for his clever wordplay, combining gritty and witty lyrics with a fusion of Kabwe slang in his music.
