President Hichilema sacks Luapula Province Minister, Derricky Chilundika

President Hakainde Hichilema has sacked Luapula Province Minister, Derricky Chilundika, with immediate effect.

State House Chief Communications Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka, announced this in a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday.

The Head of State terminated the employment of Mr. Chilundika pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.

Hichilema has since thanked the former Minister for the services he rendered to the nation and wished him well in his future endeavours.
