Joshua Mutale drew first blood in the 22nd minute, with Owen Tembo doubling the score 2 minutes later.

Nkwazi pulled one back in the 62nd minute courtesy of a Wezzy Kumwenda goal to set up an interesting finale to the match but Power held on to a win and grabbed all three points.

Despite the defeat, Nkwazi still remain top of the Super League with 6 points having played three matches.

Meanwhile, Red Arrows were held at home by FC MUZA one-all in a match played at Nkholoma Stadium.

Rickson Ng’ambi came off the bench to rescue a point for FC MUZA by scoring a superb free kick to level matters in the 81st minute.

Ricky Banda thought his 14th minute goal was enough to claim victory for Red Arrows but FC MUZA showed resilience and claimed a hard earned point less than 10 minutes before full time.

The draw means FC MUZA are just a point behind leaders Nkwazi FC.
