Power Dynamos says it remains committed to achieve the set objectives for the 2022/2023 MTN/FAZ Super League season.
This is despite having struggled with two consecutive stalemates in the first two games of the second round.
Power Dynamos Chief Executive Officer, Gibson Chaloba said the Kitwe giants who were dominating the FAZ Super League table with 37 points, five points ahead of second placed Green Buffaloes had made good headway towards beefing up the squad after the departure of striker Kennedy Musonda.
Musonda clinched a two-year deal with Tanzanian Premier League leaders Young Africans SC who are reported to have enticed Power Dynamos with a K100, 000 transfer fee.

Power Dynamos could however not disclose the fee due to a non-disclosure clause in the sale agreement.
“The club has seen it fit to allow the player to pursue his dreams of playing outside Zambia. The move was aimed at having a win-win situation for both the player and club.
“Upon Kennedy agreeing personal terms with Yanga, the two clubs have subsequently agreed on a transfer fee, which remains undisclosed in view of a non-disclosure clause in the sale agreement,” Chaloba said in an interview on Thursday.
Chaloba said Power Dynamos agreed to sale their striker after thorough consultations with all key stakeholders; the sponsor, club executive committee, the fans, and indeed Kennedy Musonda’s family.
He indicated that Power Dynamos would miss their marksman who scored 11 goals in the first round of the FAZ Super League.
“Kennedy has been on song this season, scoring 11 goals and helping Power Dynamos to remain on top of the league, halfway through the season. This made him to become a hot cake on the market, attracting several offers locally as well as from outside Zambia.
“The “Aba-Yellow” family will certainly miss his services but also wishes the player the very best as he embarks on this new journey in Tanzania,” he said.
After winning 10 games, drawing seven and losing only two games, Power Dynamos remain the strongest contenders for the Super League title ahead of defending champions Red Arrows, Zesco United and rivals Nkana who are occupying eighth, tenth and 13th position on the Super League table.
