Power Dynamos earned the bragging rights in the Kitwe derby by beating struggling Nkana 2-0, in the highlight of FAZ Super League week 12 fixtures played over the weekend.

Andy Boyeli and Godfrey Ngwenya scored a goal each for the defending champions in Sunday’s derby played at a filled Woodlands Stadium.

The result took Power to 20 points which is two less than league leaders Red Arrows who have 22 points, despite the Kitwe giants being on sixth place.

For Nkana, however, the misery continued as Kalampa slumped to their seventh defeat this season, leaving the 13 time champions second last on the log.

The two quick fire goals both from set pieces through a Boyeli header in the 49th minute and a 51st minute Ngwenya strike compounded Nkana to yet another defeat.

Eric Yema thought he had pulled one back for Nkana but the second assistant referee ruled the goal for offside much to annoyance of Kalampa fans.

Elsewhere, Mufulira Wanderers extended their impressive campaign so far this season by registering a 3-1 win over NAPSA Stars at Shinde Stadium.
