Police in Kitwe recovered two motor vehicles on Monday that were allegedly stolen in Kitwe by unknown people at separate incidents.
Copperbelt police chief Peacewell Mweemba in a statement said police in Kitwe had in two separate incidents recovered two motor vehicles, a Toyota Allion and a Toyota Corolla.
Mweemba said they where stolen on Monday in Ndeke residential area and Robert township respectively but were later dumped in Kamitondo and Luangwa townships.

Toyota Allion, registration number AID 3432 valued at K138,000 which belonged to John Chanda of house number 896 Ndeke and stolen on Monday was recovered by officers from Kamitondo police post on Wednesday,according to police .
This was after a report was made by a concerned citizen who observed that the vehicle was parked at the same place for 24.00 hours .
He said the vehicle was stolen when the owner only identified as Chanda removed the key from the car after parking it but left the engine running.
Mweemba said the Toyota Corolla registration number ABV 5337 Silver in colour valued at K55,000 ,a property of James Musonda of house number B3/11 Robert township and was recovered from Luangwa township where it was abandoned .
The car is currently parked at Wusakille Police station.
