Patriotic Front (PF) Information and Publicity chairperson, Emmanuel Mwamba, and three others have appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for the alleged offence of disorderly conduct at the Police Station.
Mwamba is jointly charged with Jacqueline Chopa, 49, Gideon Tolopa, 42, and Gift Kachingwe, 32, who whilst acting together are alleged to have conducted themselves in a disorderly manner at Kabwata Police station.

The said disorderly conduct occurred on February 27, 2024, when the accused, along with other PF members went to purportedly offer solidarity to Mr Raphael Nakachinda who was detained.
Appearing before Magistrate Amy Masoja, all the four pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The matter was adjourned to May 10 for mention and July 20, 2024, for trial.
