Ahead of dropping his latest single, and embarking on a tour with his fellow South African rapper Nasty C, award winning rapper Cassper Nyovest opened up about the challenges that sometimes get the better of him.
Nyovest’s seventh studio album which was released last week Friday was followed up by a series of social media posts that same evening from the rapper.
“Life is hard, this is hard, the one minute you are on top of the world and you’re feeling great and things are looking positive, then boom life gets at you.”
The father to one added that even though he had a very strong head on his shoulders and believed in always dusting himself through, it is not always easy because life gets one down.
In another post he continued to say: “Am I the only one who can’t sleep when they ‘re worried? Like I can’t sleep, I will toss and turn around the whole night, I hate it because sleeping would give you peace.”
Last Friday Casper and Nasty C kicked off their African tour, set to redefine the African music culture in Swaziland, and would wrap up in Johannesburg on October 28, 2023.
The African throne tour was a celebration that allowed South African artistes to share their identities, bringing distinct flavours and experiences to the stage in Africa at large through music.
