Goalkeeper, Andre Onana, was at fault for two goals as Manchester United conceded a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Lyon, leaving their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie delicately poised at the halfway stage.
United fell behind in the 25th minute when Onana failed to deal with Thiago Almada’s wide free-kick, which skidded off the surface and slipped through the goalkeeper’s hands into the net.
In a match reported by the BBC Sports, the visitors responded just before half-time through Leny Yoro, who netted his first goal for United by diverting Manuel Ugarte’s volley into the bottom corner.

Substitute Joshua Zirkzee thought he had secured victory for the Red Devils when he headed home Bruno Fernandes’ looping cross in the 88th minute.
But Lyon equalised in stoppage time after Onana spilled Georges Mikautadze’s shot, allowing Rayan Cherki to score on the rebound.
The Cameroonian keeper, under scrutiny following critical remarks by Lyon substitute and former United player Nemanja Matic — who labelled him “one of the worst keepers” in the club’s history — struggled under pressure throughout the match.
Onana’s mistakes bring his tally to eight errors leading to goals since the start of last season, the most of any goalkeeper currently playing for a Premier League club.
