US R&B singer and actor, Omari Ishmael Grandberry, known by his stage name Omarion, captivated the Stanbic Bank Zambia Music Festival crowd last night with his electrifying dance moves and smooth R&B hits.
From timeless classics to fresh grooves, Omarion’s magnetic stage presence culminated in a stunning performance of his hit collaboration “Superman” with Zambian sensation Yo Maps.
Yo Maps had earlier energized the audience with his own electrifying set, filled with dynamic dances that had the crowd on their feet.
Before Omarion and Yo Maps took the stage, legendary Zamrock band WITCH mesmerized the audience with a tribute to Zambia’s musical heritage, accompanied by the young band Stasis Prey.

Their gritty riffs and timeless Zamrock classics took fans on a nostalgic journey through the golden era of Zambian rock.
Macky 2 opened Night 1 with explosive energy, delivering hit after hit and sharing the stage with fellow Zambian stars Afunika and Roberto.
The crowd enthusiastically showed love for Zambia’s King Buga throughout his powerful set.
Musiq Soulchild closed out the night with soulful melodies and smooth vocals, leaving the audience in awe and wrapping up an unforgettable first night of the festival.
