Zambia National Team Coach Wedson Nyirenda has announced a 33-man provisional squad for the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) final round qualifier against Mozambique.
The squad features players from the MTN Super League and ZPL National League, including notable names such as defender Kabaso Chongo, Dominic Chanda, and goalkeepers Lawrence Mulenga and Charles Kalumba, all of whom played key roles in Zambia’s AFCON qualification campaign.
Zambia would travel to Mozambique for the first leg on December 21, 2024, before hosting the return fixture in Lusaka on December 28, 2024.
The aggregate winner would earn a spot in the CHAN tournament, scheduled to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1 to February 28, 2025.
