Nakonde District has received over K27 million Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for various project implementation.
More than K27 million CDF received this year has been used to put up various projects in the area, Nakonde District Commissioner, Marvelous Sikapizye, said in an interview on Wednesday.
“This money which is for 2022 but received this year has been used to construct clinics and used to making desks for schools. Back then, children used to sit on the floor but with the coming of the CDF, they are now able to sit on desks.
“No one can complain about CDF as it has caused children to have desks in schools,” Sikapizye said.
