Musician Brian Bwembya, popularly known as B-Flow, has been elected president of the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM), with music producer Yahya Kaba (KB) as his vice president.
The election took place during the 2025 ZAM Elective Conference at Lusaka Playhouse on Friday, where B-Flow and KB took over from the outgoing leadership of Davison Munsanda.
The new leaders assured musicians that the time for politics and games within the association was over.
In a statement issued by newly elected Publicity Secretary Edmond Miti, B-Flow expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and trust placed in him and his executive.
“It is now time to work and deliver on the promises made during the nearly two-month campaign period,” he said.

B-Flow urged musicians to unite under the association to advance the growth and development of Zambia’s music industry.
“A united association is what I hope to build. We shall embrace all members, including those who did not vote for us. Come, sit with us, tell us what needs to change, and let’s be the change together,” he stated.
B-Flow also extended an olive branch to those who had distanced themselves from ZAM, inviting them to work with the new executive in advocating for artistes’ welfare and strengthening the industry.
