He said this is premised on the fact that when the allegations were made against the two ministers, instead of the Commission engaging him over the allegations, it contemptuously issued a statement wherein the Ministers of Finance, Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane denied that there was any corruption or investigations.

Zulu said further the President under whose Office the ACC falls by virtue of gazette notice number 1123 issued a statement instructing the ministers to sue alleging that it is mischievous.

He said based on this, it is evident that in the eyes of the supervisor of the ACC there is or was no corruption by the ministers.

“Further your institutions has gone on defense for the ministers by issuing statement as stated above instead of investigating the matter,” Zulu said.

He said premised on the foregoing, the ACC’s desire to fight corruption and ability to fight corruption on this matter is prejudiced and anchored on this he will not appear before the Commission.

“I have since sent a request to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution to allow me to privately prosecute this matter,” Zulu said.
