The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMEs) has urged Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to collaborate and foster a vibrant, competitive market.
Ministry Permanent Secretary, Subeta Mutelo, stated that SMEs had to refine their products to compete effectively in the international market.
She made these remarks on Saturday in Lusaka at the 96th Agricultural and Commercial Show, where the ministry honored the top exhibitors who partnered with it.

Noting that some SMEs already had their products in chain stores and were exhibiting locally, Mutelo added that the ministry was ready to assist them in further showcasing their products in neighboring countries.
“Make your products perfect and you will go and exhibit under the ministry of SMEs,” she said.
Meanwhile, at the same event, DLN Technologies Chief Executive Officer, Dumisani Ncube, urged business owners to focus on expanding their enterprises.
“To encourage all of us to keep pushing our different enterprises, we have partnered with the ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development,” he stressed.
