Zambezi East Member of Parliament, Brian Kambita, has taken jailed former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo to court, demanding a refund of K850,000 over a failed property transaction.
According to court documents, Kambita and Lusambo entered into an agreement on August 23, 2024, for the purchase of a property in Lusaka.

The agreement required Lusambo to transfer ownership and hand over the keys within two weeks of payment.
However, despite Kambita paying the full K850,000, Lusambo allegedly failed to meet his obligations.
Kambita’s lawsuit accused Lusambo of breaching the contract and demands a refund of the K850,000, along with damages, interest, and legal costs.
The case comes after Lusambo was sentenced to four years in prison last month for corruption, while his wife, Nancy Manase, was acquitted.
