Media personality, Natasha, seeks divorce from husband, Sean

Media personality, Natasha Chitundu Vander Maas, has filed for divorce at the Lusaka High Court, alleging her decade-long marriage to Sean Micheal Vander Maas had irretrievably broken down.

According to a divorce petition seen by Zambia Monitor, Natasha, a media personality hosting various shows on DSTV Zambia and her husband, an insurance broker with Satib Insurance broker, married on May 24,2013.

The two have one child between them born in 2012. They, however, been living apart for a continuous period of at least two years preceding the presentation of the petition.

“The marriage has broken down irretrievably on account of the parties to the marriage having lived apart for a continuous period of at least two years preceding the presentation of the petition, specifically from March 12, 2021 and the respondent consents,” she submitted.

Natasha pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage and that both be given joint custody of the child of the family.

She added that the court order for the settlement of property.
