Manchester United staged a dramatic comeback from 2-0 down to secure a 2-2 draw against Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park.

Everton took an early lead when Beto capitalized on a scramble in United’s box, and Abdoulaye Doucouré doubled the advantage before halftime, finishing a rebound after Jack Harrison’s shot was saved by André Onana.

According to the Independent, David Moyes’ side appeared in control as the second half began, but Bruno Fernandes reignited United’s hopes with a stunning free-kick from just outside the area. Ruben Amorim’s men gained momentum, eventually finding an equalizer through Manuel Ugarte’s powerful strike from the edge of the box.

Late drama ensued when Everton were awarded a penalty in the 94th minute after Ashley Young went down in the box, but the decision was overturned following a VAR review, ensuring both sides shared the points.
