A 34-year-old man has appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly sexually abusing his 14-year-old biological daughter.
The case, allocated to Magistrate Chrispin Hampungani, was unable to proceed due to the lack of consent from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to prosecute.
The accused, Sydney Nseke, is charged with incest contrary to Section 159(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.

Specifically, the allegations stated that between August 10 and 11, this year, Nseke had carnal knowledge of his daughter.
The case had been adjourned to November 18, 2024, for a possible plea.
