Gabriel Magalhaes’ decisive header secured Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, marking the Gunners’ return to winning form.

Tottenham began the match strongly, with Dejan Kulusevski testing Raya early.

Arsenal countered with Kai Havertz’s header and Gabriel Martinelli’s tame shot, both saved by Guglielmo Vicario.

Just before the half-hour mark, Dominic Solanke narrowly missed with a looping header and Micky van de Ven’s attempt was denied by Raya after halftime.

The breakthrough came in the 64th minute from a set-piece. Bukayo Saka’s precise cross allowed Gabriel to head past Vicario, exploiting some poor marking from Cristian Romero.

Tottenham had late chances to equalize but failed to capitalize.

Pape Sarr’s low shot was comfortably gathered by Raya, and Kulusevski’s effort narrowly missed the crossbar in the dying moments.
