Lufwanyama man grievously harmed as son allegedly pulls off his testicles

A man from Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province, has reportedly been harmed by his 22 year old son belived to have mental disorders by pulling his two testicles with bare hands in Lufwanyama district of Copperbelt Province.

According to the Police,Dickson Chimba, aged 56, of Mukutuma area of Lufwanyama, was grievously harmed after both of his testicles were forcefully ripped off with bear hands by his son Wallen Chimba, aged 22 .

The suspect is alleged to have a mental disorder.

The suspect alleged that he was advised by an unknown traditional doctor to take his father’s testicles to be used to heal him of his illness.

“The suspect was hit with a stick at the back of his head by his brother who was trying to save his father,” Copperbelt Police Chief Peacewell Mweemba said in a statement on Sunday.

“The suspect sustained five deep cuts in the head,while the father lost both of his testicles.”

He said both were rushed to Lufwanyama Hospital for treatment.

Their conditions are reportedly stable.
