Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club has appointed former Zambia national team Head Coach, Patrick Phiri, as technical advisor for the club.
Phiri’s appointment would end at the 2023/24 season, Club Media and Public Relations Officer, Gwen Chipasula, said in Lusaka in statement on Wednesday.
Chipasula said in light of the team’s current standing on the log, this strategic move aimed to aid the club’s efforts to surge away from relegation threats.
“In addition, the club is pleased to confirm Donewell Yobe as Head Coach, who has signed a two-year contract,” she added.
Chipasula said both Phiri and Yobe had been tasked with the crucial mission of ensuring the club maintained its spot on the MTN-sponsored league for the upcoming season.

Mupeta added that with Phiri and Yobe’s leadership, the club can navigate through the challenging period and secure its position in the MTN Super League.
“The club remains steadfast in its commitment to securing the team’s status in the elite League, and these latest developments underline the determination to achieve this goal,” he said.
