Jay Rox described the album as his most emotional project to date.

“May God bless you as you listen to this album. This has to be the most emotional album I’ve ever recorded. Some songs were recorded when I was at my lowest point but I had to keep on moving. If it wasn’t for God and your support, I wouldn’t have reached this far. #AugustTurn is now officially out,” he posted to his 448 thousand Facebook followers.

The album is so far receiving rave reviews on the internet.

One Facebook user described the project is relatable.

“Most of the songs are so relatable I can’t pick one as a favorite. I have more than ten now,” the post read.
