A joint project by two of the music industry’s finest rappers, Jackson Ng’ambi, aka Jay Rox, and Humphrey Kaema, known in the Zambian music circles as Jae Cash is getting rave reviews.
The two artistes released a seven track EP titled, ‘Freddy vs Jason’ at midnight Wednesday.
The project which features Umusepela Chile and Dizmo who are proteges of Jay Rox and Jae Cash respectively, is predominantly hip-hop but contains a fusion of Afro-Beat with a few sprinkles of dancehall.
The artistes recruited DJ C.O.B. and Focus Beats as the producers responsible for crafting the sound on this E.P.
The Jay Rox and Jae Cash pairing is a match made in musical heaven as the two rappers display chemistry when they trade rhymes on this masterpiece.
Whether it’s the hustler anthem ‘Office’, the high tempo love song ‘Mapepe’ or the lyrical masterclass ‘Guard wa ku G4′, the duo have proved that they are a force to reckon with in the industry.
Both artistes shared the link to their project via their respective social media platforms sending fans into frenzy.

In just less than 24 hours of its release, the project has garnered over 171 thousand streams on Boomplay, which is the preferred platform to host the EP exclusively.
It is, however, expected that the project will spread out to other major platforms.
