“We have witnessed flash floods and droughts in some parts of the country. This season, we are experiencing the effects of a dry spell in most areas, impacting crop production, livestock, and other economic activities,” Mposha stated.
He said there was need for concerted efforts at all levels of governance to address climate change challenges.
Mposha also mentioned that the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment was committed to supporting and facilitating initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.
“Together, we have the power to make a meaningful difference and build a more resilient and sustainable future for all,” he said.
