The Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Arts has commended the ‘Pachi Panda Innovation Challenge’ for young innovators which aims to address the issues of climate change challenge in the country.
Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Art, Permanent Secretary, Fumba Chama, emphasized the significance of the interest the challenge had generated among young people.

“This is what we need to ensure that the future is in safe hands.I am optimistic that this challenge will provide long-term solutions for the environmental issues currently facing Zambia,” Chama said.
He said this in Lusaka on Friday during Pachipanda Innovation Challenge prize organized by WWF Zambia and the MTN Zambia Foundation.
Chama stressed the importance of recognizing the opportunity to create a creative platform for young people to develop ideas that addressed climate change.
Furthermore, he encouraged participants in the challenge to continue raising the Zambian flag to greater heights and showcase the solutions the country had to offer.
