Government has integrated its service bus with the Zanaco bill muster solution to ease hurdles that land owners encounter in processing payments for land related services.
According to Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Elijah Muchima, the system would allow land owners through the zamportal to make payments from any Zanaco branch or agent.
Muchima said on Friday when announcing the integration in Lusaka that the bill muster would allow for high value payments to be made securely and required services delivered efficiently in a seamless manner.
“You may wish to learn that immediately a payment towards any ministry of lands and natural resources e-services is made online, it will automatically reflect in the system, and the processing of the specific required service is initiated. there will be no need for our clients to submit deposit slip from the banks!” he said.
He stated that integration of bill muster solutions was the second one that the ministry was launching with the first being the bill master launch with the national titling system.

And Zanaco bank plc Chief Executive Officer, Mukwandi Chibesakunda encouraged all landowners to take advantage and make use of the solution.
“We understand that paying for these services can be a challenge for many people, particularly those with limited access to banking services.
“We want the public to experience a smooth process to enable them quickly register their land, pay land rates and many other services so that they can enjoy security tenure,” Chibesakunda said.
